Statement of Faith
Our shared belief unites us in the redeeming power of Jesus Christ, which serves as the cornerstone of all our decisions:
Belief in salvation – life after death
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
Belief in redemption - sin
Ephesians 1:7
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,”
Belief in the sanctity of marriage – man and woman
Genesis 2:24
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”
Belief in the sanctity of life – life upon conception
Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Psalm 139, 13, 16
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb . . . your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be"
As the final authority for our faith and lives, we hold that the Bible is the inspired word of God and we aim to glorify God by doing our best to ensure that we "strive for excellence and integrity" in all that we do, believing that it will be a blessing to all, including the lives of our students and their families, our communities, our corporation, and personnel.
Faith-based employment, staff & volunteers
Sharing the same values, morals, and beliefs reveals our desire to collaborate successfully and our confidence in one another to resolve our disagreements through faith, hope, and love.
2 Corinthians 6:14 states “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”
Code of Conduct
In light of our nation's motto, "In God We Trust," our Code of Conduct will reflect our morals, values, and beliefs, which are inspired by Mat 22:37-39, "The first greatest and most important commandment, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ Followed by the second greatest commandment, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” since our interactions with people will not be right unless we have a right relationship with God.
